Pilgrims

The full moon casting its glow onto the river as it empties into the bay. The ripples and splashes of tired pilgrims announce the salmon’s return to their terminus. These weary survivors close the loop to this ancient ceremony and awarding the ones to follow a chance to honor tradition. The night will return the sky to the Sun, the mountains will pour into the rivers, and new adventurers embark on the ocean with only the wisdom in their flesh and bones.
